Point-to-Point Connectivity
KVH point-to-point data connectivity solutions serve a wide range of needs from secure enterprise backbone to ultra-low latency financial exchanges connectivity.
Point-to-Point Service Menu:
- Leased Line – Ultra-reliable and secure high-speed data communications using SONET and DWDM technology that insulate your communications from the traffic of other users by dedicating bandwidth for each data line, ensuring the utmost in security and predictability.
- Ether-MAN PLUS – Delivers ultra low latency, high reliability, and guaranteed bandwidth connectivity. This innovative end-to-end connectivity service combines the reliability of a leased line service with the flexibility of a wide-area Ethernet service.
- SmartGIGA® – Offers a rich menu of OTN (Optical Transport Network) technology based high-speed, large capacity circuits with short lead-time and at low cost. With guaranteed bandwidth of up to 10Gbps, KVH SmartGiga is specially designed to connect data centers or large offices running SaaS / PaaS solutions and core applications to a single virtual platform.
Point-to-Multipoint Connectivity
KVH point-to-multipoint data connectivity solutions allow you to develop private networks for your clients and employees. While retaining all of the advantages of KVH’s low latency connectivity, multiple circuits can be terminated at one location efficiently within one aggregation port, making it easy to manage and configure.
Point-to-Multipoint can be created using the following classes of service:
- Ether-MAN Plus (Ethernet Aggregation Service) – A point-to-multipoint connectivity solution offering the flexibility of wide-area Ethernet with guaranteed bandwidth and ultra low-latency for efficiently connecting multiple locations at a reasonable cost.
- Ether-MAN Ex – Designed as a nationwide any-to-any connectivity solution, Ether-MAN EX delivers reliable and flexibly configurable point-to-multipoint Ethernet service configurations for those requiring coverage beyond the main metropolitan areas in Japan.
Internet Access Service
KVH provides carrier grade Internet infrastructure as one of Japan's largest ISPs to ensure your business is safe with KVH. KVH Internet Access is available in either IPv4 or IPv6 with guaranteed bandwidth ranging from 1Mbps to 10Gbps with fixed or usage-based billing.
Voice Services
Offered in the greater Tokyo and greater Osaka areas, KVH VoiceLINE services provide a direct connection to your PBX handling outgoing and incoming domestic and international calls to and from fixed line, mobile and IP phones. KVH VoiceLINE is available as either an ISDN or IP-based service (VoIP) to provide a choice that matches your system requirements.
