July 12, 2007: IBC and KVH to partner in providing support to Japanese businesses entering the India market - Providing complete consultation service from establishment of a local entity to assistance with implementation of IT infrastructure

Indo Business Centre, Ltd. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Takashi Shimada, hereinafter referred to as “IBC”), and KVH Co., Ltd (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Miyuki Suzuki hereinafter referred to as “KVH”) will partner in supporting Japanese businesses entering the Indian market. The two companies will provide comprehensive support for Japanese businesses to establish a presence in India, from selection of a form of entity, assistance with implementation of communications infrastructure, and arrangement of human resources to helping with support functions. The two companies will also cooperate in marketing and sales activities in Japan. As a first step in this cooperative effort, a joint customer seminar entitled “Business Support to Companies Entering the Indian Market” will be held in July in Tokyo.

IBC and KVH will partner to help Japanese enterprises navigate the various businesses challenges when entering the India market. IBC has extensive experience and deep knowledge of India and leverages its India expertise and network of consultants in advising Japanese companies on India market entry strategies. KVH recognizes India as a strategic market and has been supported through an affiliated team in Bangalore, India since May 2005 in the enhancement of its global IT management service offerings. In recent years, the Indian economy has grown by more than 8% annually. When Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh visited Japan in December 2006, a joint statement promoting the “Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor” was issued, signaling an increased momentum in the number of Japanese companies interested in establishing a presence in India. . . Notwithstanding the positive investment environment, Japanese companies have a need for assistance in understanding the business, taxation and legal risks of operating in India, as well as objective assessments of issues related to staffing, power supply, infrastructure quality and telecommunications.
