Peter Butterfield
Peter Butterfield, Global Administrative Officer, is responsible for developing regional business and building and nurturing industry and government relations on behalf of KVH. Peter is also responsible for the structuring and maintenance of KVH legal entities, including regulatory, compliance and audit functions, as KVH continues to expand its business across Asia.Peter was a member of KVH's senior management team in a variety of roles for eight years since KVH's establishment, having served as KVH's General Counsel from 2000 - 2008 and as the Director of Corporate Communications for much of the same period. From 2008-2012, Peter was with Devonshire Investors in Boston, MA as Senior Vice President, Telecom Commercial & Regulatory. Prior to KVH, Peter had a successful legal career where he last served as a Partner at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in Boston, including a 2 year assignment in Japan with Anderson Mori.
Peter holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law and a BA from Bowdoin College. He is admitted to the Bar in Massachusetts.
